About
Williamson ClusterPaper — Faith & Values is a weekly news and feature publication developed and written by Art Toalston of Franklin, Tenn.
Art Toalston has been in denominational media work for more than 20 years and, previously, newspaper work for nearly 10 years. He is an associate member of the Religion Newswriters Association and a graduate distance student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Williamson ClusterPaper — Faith & Values is both an online publication and one that can be freely downloaded in PDF format by any interested individual or individuals for local print distribution in such settings as churches, businesses, civic groups and community gatherings. There is no charge for the PDF download nor any limit to the number of copies that may be reproduced and distributed.
Williamson ClusterPaper — Faith & Values is a form of “hyperlocal” journalism, an emerging trend in media to provide community news, information, multimedia and opinion in greater quantity, breadth and depth than a newspaper’s “Local” page or a TV/radio station’s newscasts and public affairs programs. In this case, a weekly ClusterPaper article will provide an in-depth look at people in the community with a unique story to tell from a faith and values standpoint. The term “ClusterPaper” reflects the possibility that several reporters could join together someday to produce an expanded online publication covering several content areas, such as government, business and sports as well as faith and values.
